What are immunity shots good for?

Improving sluggish digestion

Slow digestion doesn’t just cause physical pain but emotional upset. Often, it coincides with bloating, gas and constipation – all of which knock a person’s confidence. Many sufferers rely on over-the-counter medication to alleviate the worst symptoms. However, laxatives only make the problem worse, causing the bowel to become lazy over time.

Instead of treating the symptoms, address the root cause of the issue with immunity shots. Many of the ingredients reduce bloating while stimulating a healthy gut microbiome. Pair this with our intensive Detox Package – we’ll give you the tools to make better dietary decisions.

Supercharging energy levels

Although it pains us to say it, your much-loved morning coffee could be doing more harm than good! Caffeine is notorious for causing afternoon crashes – not to mention acid reflux, digestive issues and mood disorders. Immunity shots, especially those with turmeric and ginger, are a kinder alternative that’s equally effective.

Fighting inflammation

If you’re struggling to exercise because of muscle soreness, turmeric-laced immunity shots are the perfect antidote. Besides treating superficial stiffness, there’s a trove of research illustrating turmeric’s soothing effects on inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, psoriasis, depression, atherosclerosis and COVID-19.

5 immune-boosting recipes

1. Ginger, turmeric, and lemon

What is this recipe good for? Combatting inflammation, fighting colds and improving digestion.

What you’ll need for one serving:

  • One small orange
  • One small lemon
  • ¼ tsp fresh turmeric
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • Dash of black pepper

Remove the orange peel and lemon rinds, and chop or grate the turmeric and ginger. Add the orange, lemon, turmeric and ginger into the juicer. Add the black pepper and honey afterwards to taste.

Or use a blender and strain the mixture through a dish towel (remember, turmeric stains), and add water to improve the consistency – this applies to all recipes.
